Anxiety
Therapy

Why am I worried so much of the time?

Why do I avoid intimacy and connecting to others?

When did this all begin?

During childhood, wounds such as loss, betrayal, humiliation, and rejection, even in their most mild or moderate experience, can leave lasting impressions on our lives as we grow into our teenage and adult years.

Anxiety Levels

The science has taught us that anxiety occurs within a range and is a necessary part of our lives, helping us recognize when danger is near. Anxiety can be moderately problematic, yet unwanted, or can cause repeated episodes of sudden, intense anxiety, fear, even terror that can reach a troublesome peak within minutes resulting in what are called panic attacks.

When to Get Help
for Anxiety

If your experience of anxiety is problematic and in the way too often, or overwhelming with intense, excessive, and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations, then therapy will be a great help.

Whatever level of anxiety you experience, it can interfere with daily activities, can be difficult to control, and is usually out of proportion to the actual danger. You may avoid places or situations to help cope with these feelings.
